Dr. Thorp recommends Phil Thaler, Certified Professional Trainer. Phil has successfully trained dogs for more than 22 years. A former California Highway Patrolman, Phil trained dual-purpose police K-9s for the CHP.
Phil enrolled in the world-famous Tom Rose School in St. Louis, where he completed an intensive 20-week trainer course, which included competition obedience, tracking, narcotics detection, personal protection, agility, and group and personal obedience classes.
Phil was employed by Kennelwood Village, one of the largest boarding kennels in the country. To date, Phil has trained more than 1,100 dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments.
Phil offers his services either at your home, his home or the clinic. Arrangements also can be made to have your pet trained while boarding.
